TeleTV's new CEO

TeleTV's New CEO is a choose-your-own adventure game made for the Rorius Game Jam 2022: "Ignorance Is Bliss", in which your choices have consequences, and your mismanagement could cause destruction far beyond the realm of your channel. What chaos will your tenure cause? Or would you rather not find out- Ignorance is Bliss, after all.

(Please report bugs and typos; these will be fixed in a post-jam patch just for niceness)

Features:

+ A story database of 63 unique questions in a web of storylines!

+ 2 Unique Minigames with 21 Interviewees and 14 CEO-y letters!

+ 10 minute looping in-game music! (plus 90s main menu theme) (+Easter Egg tracks*)

+ Supports custom packs for building your own stories. (Guide to be released post-jam)

Note: This game drops key files (include save data, and pack / story data) to your computer's AppData Folder, at %appdata%\Simmo\IgnoranceIsBliss ... These files, if deleted, will be regenerated whenever the game is started again.

(*This game was made entirely within the timeframe of the Rorius Game Jam 2022, with the exception of the audio tracks within the Easter Eggs, but it should be noted that these easter eggs are not encountered in the realms of normal play. Post-Jam expanded story pack is planned and files will be made available as a separate download)

LINUX VERSION NOTES:

- Does not support Saving Games

- Does not support viewing ending in Notepad

- Does not support using Device username

- Does not support toggle music setting

- Does not support opening Credits

- Features the two bug fixes listed in "Post Jam Patch 1 fixes"
